Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200 are now loaded with tons of new features, taking it to the next step in the evolution of ERP software. From its Core Financial and Project Management modules down to Manufacturing and Distribution, the functionality of MAS 90 and MAS 200 has just got better. Work more efficiently and productively just the way

you expect it with a wide-range of new features and enhancements directed to the workflow and business process specifically in the inventory, purchase order, bill of materials and bar code areas of the system. MAS 90 and MAS 200 Version 4.4 now provides users with the most in demand customer enhancements and usability improvements. What’s New in version 4.4

Expanded fields

In MAS 90 and MAS 200 version 4.4 the Customer and Item Numbers are now expandable providing users with 20 alphanumeric characters usable for the Customer numbers and 30 for Item Numbers. You can now add specific information with this new character field length which enables you to enhance your workflow and refine your business processes. It is now more convenient and easier to identify your customers using up to 20 characters by using full company names, or adding coded or themed information, that helps in easy identification for multiple accounts of the same or similar names, and many more. Maximize your productivity and business workflow by using the up to 30 characters item numbers. You can also use smart part numbers like UPC, recycling codes, a vendor numbers, special handling requirements and many more.

Upgrading

To achieve greater efficiency, you can now move to the new version with better control and which is more convenient to your company. You can carry on with your business operations on your present MAS 90 and MAS 200 with Parallel Migration while the new Version 4.4 is being prepared and tested which decreases downtime and minimizes the risk of transitioning from test to live.

Customization

In MAS 90 and MAS 200 version 4.4 you can program events to run with or without user interaction (clicking a button) through Custom Office, in addition with capability to add user-defined fields and additional buttons. The customizations made through using Custom Office now survive upgrades throughout most of your system which includes Inventory Management, Purchase Order, Bill of Materials and Bar Code. For example, you can add expiration dates or other attributes for lot and serial items, and that information flows through the system. Another example for customizations using standard scripting is Sales Oder Entry expiration dates can automatically change if Quote is chosen as the Order type.

Inventory Counts

Conserve precious time and refine the workflow of your physical count. Be confident and relax as accuracy is guaranteed by printing the system Quantity On Hand directly on the physical count worksheet, which can also be arranged according to your preferred order. Your warehouse manager can relax knowing that he knows the expected count while they supervise the item count. In addition, to further refine the process, the expected quantity can be set as the default, so only your changes require an entry.

Enhanced Bill of Materials Features

With just a fewer keystrokes in MAS 90 and MAS 200 version 4.4 you can gain extensive and personalized view of information. View Where Used information, and see all components used in the current revision or for all revisions by drilling directly into Item of Bill of Material Maintenance. From within an inquiry screen, you can see everything related to the bill – its subassemblies or its components – without having to use more than one window, saving time and streamlining the workflow.
